Conservation at home

Spokane County & Clearwater Direct Seed Tour

June 29-30

The Spokane County Conservation District, WSU/UofI Extension and the Pacific Northwest Direct Seed Association invite you to attend a two-day bus tour of multiple direct seed locations across the region.

 

The tour includes a dinner banquet with guest speakers and beginning dryland no-tillers Danie and Joanna Rossouw from South Africa, overnight stay at the Red Lion in Lewiston, ID, and the University of Idaho crop tour on the Camas Prairie.

 

The cost for the tour is as follows:

Option #1: Join us for the full two-day tour including transportation, dinner banquet and overnight accommodations ($40 for single occupancy/$30 for double).

 

Option #2: Joining us on the tour, with your own transportation and the prime rib dinner banquet ($10)

Low Interest Equipment Loans In the market for new or used harvestconservation tillage equipment? Financing is available through the SCCD.

Eligible equipment includes equipment necessary to make the transition to conservation tillage and direct seeding systems and to implement alternatives to field burning, and now includes combines.
