Permaculture Design 101
With Dave Boehnlein
Permaculture design is a method of landscape planning that can be applied to anything, from a home garden or farm to a city block or entire village. This permaculture course will explore the practice of designing sustainable human habitats by following nature’s patterns. Permaculture draws on a wide variety of fields (e.g. natural building, alternative energy, agroforestry, alternative economics, etc.) and seeks to ensure that pieces from each of those areas of expertise relate to each other in beneficial ways.
About the Instructor: Dave serves as a Principal and Co-Founder of Terra Phoenix Design. He offers permaculture design courses through Bastyr University and Alderleaf Wilderness College, and has also co-authored a book for entry level permaculture design.
