Project summaries

North Pine Creek

North Pine Creek is not regulated by the Shorelines Management Program, however it was included in the inventory and assessment project as supplemental information to any future work for the area.

North Pine Creek is located within the Pine Creek watershed. The creek flows in a southerly direction for 6.9 river miles until it enters the mainstem of Pine Creek just east of where Highway 195 crosses Pine Creek. There was only one reach for the stream and it was determined to be FAR. Reed canarygrass (Phalaris arundinacea) dominates the channel and small pockets of scrub-shrub habitat are found within the reach.
