Project Coordinator
Career Emphasis
Surface water hydrology, including
the dynamics of natural river systems, river hydraulics
and river responses. Interested in estimating peak discharges,
estimate design water surface elevations, evaluating
river scour and sediment deposition. River training and
bank protection using traditional rock structures, vegetation,
blocks, gabions, articulated concrete mattresses and
other structures. Interested in water hydraulics including:
normal depth calculations, one-dimensional backwater
analyses, culvert hydraulics, bridge hydraulics, two-dimensional
backwater analyses, and regime equations for scour depth
estimations.
