The Spokane Conservation District only accepts applications & resumes for open positions. In addition to staff positions, we regularly advertise unpaid/for-credit internships and paid internships. All positions require the SCD job application.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join our volunteer list! The SCD maintains a volunteer pool for a variety of programs throughout the year, and the program is vital to not only the SCD, but to natural resources throughout Spokane. The projects vary during the year and include:

• Willow Warriors: volunteers head out in kayaks and canoes on Hangman Creek to plant 3,000 willows in two days. Usually the last weekend in April.
• Stream bank restoration work
• And more!
